Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, Westlake Village

My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was nice and had a peaceful vibe away from the city's hustle, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and my requests were often left unaddressed. The room was decent, yet it fell short of the high expectations I had for a Four Seasons property. Although the dining options were tasty, they came with a hefty price tag, which didn't feel quite justified given the overall experience.

I had a great experience at the hotel during New Year's Eve, with beautiful rooms and incredibly helpful staff. The fitness facilities and indoor pool were also nice perks, though there were some minor hiccups with our check-in and room amenities. The New Year's Eve party was a highlight, but I wish I had made spa reservations in advance as they were fully booked during our stay.

Our stay at the Four Seasons had its ups and downs. The location promised stunning views, especially when we upgraded, but it fell short due to highway visibility. Service was a mixed bag; while some staff were great, others left much to be desired, particularly at the front desk. While the spa was popular, we found it too busy for our tastes. Overall, it did not meet the high expectations set by its reputation.

This hotel offers a peaceful retreat in a beautiful area, making it a great getaway spot. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the staff is attentive, yet some service aspects, particularly poolside, could improve. While the dining is generally good, it can be hit or miss in terms of timing and value. Also, connectivity issues were a downside, particularly for those who need reliable Internet access.

I was really looking forward to spending time at the pool with my kids, but I was disappointed to find out that they were only allowed in the indoor pool, which had a strong chlorine smell. On the brighter side, the hotel itself is beautiful and has some great amenities, including a fantastic gym and delicious healthy food options. Overall, it would have been a better experience for adults without kids.
